Local Film “Aku Bukan Gila” Is Now Streaming For Free Only On WeTV iflix

Any local movie lovers here? We'll have you know that homegrown film, “Aku Bukan Gila” is now streaming exclusively on WeTV iflix for free.

The exclusive trailer was screened at the media launch event at Flamingo Hotel, Ampang on Tuesday, 6 October 2020 for VIPs, media personnels and influencers who were invited. Also in attendance were the main cast Beto Kusyairi, Fasha Sandha, Wanna Ali and the film director, Rahila Ali.

“I feel honoured to be part of this film and bring to life the story of Adra, a complex and strong female character experiencing grief and life’s challenges like the rest of us”, said Fasha Sandha, lead actress of “Aku Bukan Gila”.

The film tells about Adra (Fasha) who goes all the way to North Wales to clear her mind after her mother’s death. There, she meets Andre (Beto) with whom she constantly argues with at first. As their relationship progresses, they eventually learn about each other's complex issues amidst the beautiful landscapes of Wales. It is revealed that there will be a special end-credits scene that is sure to tug at the audience’s heartstrings and have a deeper understanding of the main characters.

As a film that aims to give an insight to mental health wellness, it is streamed on WeTV iflix, which is a platform that strives to support local talents and distribute high-quality local content.
