KJ: Vaccinations will commence in stages across states
According to Programme coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ), the vaccination exercise under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme in all states will be implemented in stages.
This is because not all 532 Vaccine Dispensing Centres (PPV) have received their COVID-19 vaccine supply as the number of doses from suppliers is currently limited.
KJ stated that Selangor will begin its vaccination exercise on Feb 25, followed by Pahang, Sarawak and Terengganu on Feb 26; Labuan on Feb 27; Kedah and Penang on Feb 28; KL, Putrajaya, Johor, Perak and Perlis on Mar 1; Melaka and Negeri Sembilan on Mar 2 and Sabah on Mar 4.
"The amount will increase from time to time according to the delivery schedule as previously announced. Thorough preparations are being carried out nationwide and we believe the exercise will run smoothly and safely upon commencement," he said.
In another development, KJ said that the COVID-19 vaccine produced by Johnson & Johnson is still in the evaluation stage with the vaccine's term sheet to be finalised in the near future.
The other four vaccines; Sinovac, AstraZeneca, CanSinoBIO and Sputnik V are still being evaluated by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA).

Getting to know the Clubhouse App
Despite its exclusivity, the Clubhouse app has millions of users and has been the talk of the town for some time. Founded in 2020 by Paul Davison and Rohan Seth of Alpha Exploration Co., let's learn everything we need to know about this popular invite-only voice chatting app.
What is it?
Clubhouse is an app that allows people to host and join audio conversations with other users. Users can join and leave the call at any time, turning any room into a public meeting hall.
How to join
Clubhouse is invite-only. Anyone who wants to join has to be brought in by someone who already has an existing account. You can still download the app and put your name on the waiting list, however, there's no guarantee that you'll ever get an account that way.
How it works
It creates a place where people can meet up to host, listen to and in some cases, join conversations within the app's community.
You can either join a room by tapping on it or start your own one.
Most Clubhouse rooms have a TED talk vibe, with one guest speaking and everyone else listening. Other users can join the conversation when deemed appropriate by a moderator but it depends on the chat (a very rare occurrence).
There are always dozens of conversations happening at the same time. This allows users to jump between subjects and speakers based on their interest.
It's only available to iPhone users at the moment
The app is only available to iPhone users at the moment. However, Clubhouse's CEO Paul Davison said that the app will eventually open up to everyone including Android users. But they're starting slow.
