PUMA signed a contract with worldwide pop star, Dua Lipa which makes her the newest face for the company’s women’s business.
The superstar will work together with the international sports brand to help inspire women globally. Not only will she be featured in their international campaigns, Dua will be included in initiatives that the singer herself is interested in.
“I am so excited to announce my partnership with PUMA,” said Dua Lipa. “From performance rehearsals to hiking in the hills, it's important to feel comfortable & look good. I’ve got so many ideas for the projects and campaigns I’ll be taking part in and look forward to bringing them all to life with my PUMA family.”
Dua Lipa and PUMA share the same values: be determined, confident, joyful and brave. Other than being an influential figure for millions of young women, the global popstar is also an advocate who builds awareness centering on issues regarding women and gender equality. That is why she will be the face of PUMA’s “She Moves Us” campaign in 2021 as the campaign focuses on inspiring women who move together to achieve and connect through sports and culture.
PUMA’s Global Director of Brand and Marketing, Adam Petrick said they were thrilled to welcome the worldwide pop icon to the family. He said, “We were drawn towards her creativity, passion, drive, and the way in which she resonates with the young female consumer. But most importantly, we were moved by her authentic passion to close the gender gap and look forward to supporting her through several brand initiatives we have planned together. We think she embodies what today’s consumer is looking for in a role model.”
Dua Lipa has forged an impressive career in a short period of time. This year, she released her second studio album which became #1 in the UK, Future Nostalgia. Upon the album’s release, Future Nostalgia became the most streamed album in one day by a British female artist worldwide in Spotify history and has more than 4.5 billion streams to date.

After the success from her single “Don’t Start Now”, the singer came back with her UK hit single “Physical” and US #1 at the Top 40, “Break My Heart”. Both singles are also part of the Future Nostalgia album.
